• Wide unpaved dirt road with streetcar/tramway tracks running down the centre of the street
• Left (west) side: row of two-storey wood frame commercial buildings with decorative gabled rooflines, covered wooden boardwalks, and awnings over storefronts; pedestrians visible on the sidewalk
• Right (east) side: prominent two-storey building at far right with a curved corner veranda/wrap-around balcony — likely a hotel; rooftop billboard partially legible reading "Furniture / The Lond[on]" or similar; additional two-storey commercial buildings receding into the distance
• Group of men standing on the right boardwalk near the hotel
• Telephone/power poles with cross-arms and wires lining both sides of the street
• Dense coniferous forest (lodgepole pine) visible at the far end of the street, framing the townscape against the surrounding wilderness
