Royal Savary Hotel Indian Point Savary Island BC Scarce RPPC Postcard SP22
In 1910 George Ashworth was a reporter for the Vancouver Province and visited Savary Island for the first time to work on a story. Seventeen years later he built and opened this hotel. The Ashworth family ran it until 1975, and it was demolished in 1982.
