  • U.S. stamp affixed (green, partially obscured) — card mailed from or via the United States
  • Addressed to: Mrs. H. E. Empey, Wellesley, Ont.
  • Handwritten message (partially legible): "Dear Mrs. Empey, By Cairoville, I once better today, had a good night's rest in the mountains, somewhat better."
