Scene Details:

• Head-and-shoulders royal portrait with an ornate tiara, drop earrings, and layered pearl necklaces.
• Dark dress with decorative trim, a pendant ornament, and light feathered detailing at the shoulders.
• Printed “Copyright” marking beneath the portrait.

Postal Markings:

• Divided back with a star-shaped monogram between “Post” and “Card.”
• Green British halfpenny postage stamp with a Bath circular cancellation; the complete date is not clearly legible.
• Addressed to Mrs. J. Hawkins, care of Mrs. Nash, Freshford Hall, Freshford, near Bath.
• Handwritten message arranging a meeting by the Guildhall at about quarter past three, signed Ethel.
