- The back prints the Spratt's breed description of the Airedale Terrier: one of the gamest and best water dogs in existence, his skull long rather than broad, his coat wiry, his colour tan on the head, ears, and lower parts of the legs, and black or grizzle on the remainder
- The card is a Spratt's copyright portrait postcard of champion dogs, by Royal Warrant to H.M. The King, printed by Johnson, Riddle & Co., Ltd., London
