Tinted postcard No. 35 titled "Boats on the Nile, Egypt," showing a busy riverside scene with tall felucca masts, figures in traditional dress, and a crowd gathered on the sandy bank. Unused. Early divided back format with US/Canada 1-cent / Foreign 2-cent postage box, dating this card to approximately 1907–1915.
Scene Details:
- Tall wooden felucca masts rising dramatically against a pale sky, with colourful pennants or rigging visible at the tips
- Large crowd of figures in traditional Egyptian dress — robes, turbans, and head coverings in red, white, and earth tones — gathered on a sloping sandy bank
- Groups of men, women, and children visible throughout the scene
- Low mud-brick or stone building visible at right
- Lush vegetation and palm trees in the background
- Warm golden and ochre tones throughout
- Caption lower centre: "35. BOATS ON THE NILE, EGYPT."
Postal Markings:
- Unused — no stamp, no message, no address
