This postcard is in excellent condition. The back includes printed description: "Little Moreton Hall, also known as the Old Hall, is a magnificent specimen of the old-fashioned Cheshire timbered hall, and has been in the possession of the Moreton family from a very early date. It was built about A.D. 1546, and is surrounded by a moat which is crossed by a bridge on the southern side. The building contains some beautiful oak carving with quaint inscriptions, and some fine stained glass."
