- Addressed to: H. Pragnell, Esq., Jointer, Cable Ship "Restorer," Commercial Pacific Cable Co., Singapore
- British one-penny Edward VII stamp affixed; postmarked Singapore, January 18, 1905
- Also bears a London receiving postmark dated 1904 — suggesting the card was sent from England to Singapore
- The Commercial Pacific Cable Co. laid the first transpacific telegraph cable in 1902; the CS Restorer was a cable repair vessel operating in the Pacific and Southeast Asia
