This vintage real photo postcard captures a lively community parade in Ganges, Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, in the early 1900s. The scene shows a beautifully decorated horse-drawn float followed by people walking and spectators lining the rural street.

The postcard was mailed from Ganges with a split ring cancel dated July 19, 1911, with a handwritten message describing the warm weather and local activities. Features a King Edward VII stamp.
