The back features a handwritten message dated 1908, postmarked from Keremeos to Vancouver, BC. The message reads:

"Dear Ivy, Have always wanted to write but never seem to get the time. Am fine & so are the rest. We're staying in a tourist cabin. Fred writes to me every other day. Drop me a line if you have more time & give me the news. Regards to the rest of family. Love Anne."
